well it looks like I'm gonna lean towards the yank 3200 sst. how would it perform with a stock cam 5.3 regcab? I will hopefully going to be spraying a 100 shot of spray on a 26" mt drag radial this summer.

Probably stall a little lower than advertised, iirc the stall is rated from a 6.0L so it will be slightly tighter for you possibly. Should work great for what you have planned.

I have a Yank TT3000 in mine that got installed at 36K and I have 108K on it now. It survived a 150 shot for quite a while before going to forced induction and hasn't quit yet. But I have a PI 26/2800 thats going in just to tighten things up a bit. I can only hope it lives as long.

That PI will be looser than the TT Yank... they will probably act about the same to be honest.

Im kinda planning on getting an ss3200 but part of me wants a 34 or 3600.

Is there anything you dont like about it? Mine would be in my rcsb with a 222/224 in a 5.3. I just dont want something that is going to get terrible mileage or get zero traction.

with that cam I'd do it...

my mileage isnt bad either if I can keep out of the throttle, sometimes thats hard to do though LOL...

The STR on the SS converters are pretty high so it will hit the tires fairly hard but its not like you'll be leaving every redlight pinned to the floor....

its tight enough that it doesnt feel like that big of a stall until you mash on the skinny pedal a bit more. then it gets fun...
