TC not spinning on shaft what does that mean!!

For soem reason I keep hearing the song where it goes "another one bites the dust, dunh dunh dunh, another one bites the dust" been there WAAYY too many times. 4th transmission is sitting on the floor in my garage waiting to get rebuilt again

Can just the pump be replaced. or will I need a complete rebuild

Depends on where all the trash went. Most likely you will be fine with a new pump and housing sicne the housing is THIN aluminum and any decent chunk can kill it. Take a pic and post it up of the small opening aorund the shaft that goes into the trans and Ill be able to tell you if oyu are screwed or not.
