sounds a tad bit high for a remanfactured one. Aren't they around $250 new from GM?

I'll check with my buddy at the dealer with that part number Stewart provided and see what his price is...

I called local Chevy Dealership and was told $350 for a brand new TB Converter. That is why I decided to go with the Yank TT2600 for $375.

if your getting it at employee price hes guna tell 243.42+tax if you give them your factory stall.

$100 core charge would send it to 371 including tax if you want to keep you factory stall.

I have this exact converter in my truck with the turbo. Flash staling it with the 4.8 it goes to about 22-2300, but I can brake stall it in 4wd to 3000 and 5 psi of boost. Makes for some nice launches . I bought mine a year ago, before they got so popular and payed $175 shipped from this same guy. But they are a little harder to come by now and there is more demand for them, so I guess that why the price increase.

As for driving, it does great. nice and tight for normal driving and will give you a few more rpm when you want it.
