Ok Guys. Trying to get my tranny back together.
Posted the other day about my tranny and sprag problems.


ZCould not get a yank in time needed so I finally found a
Trail Blazer Torque Converter.


Unfortunately the only one they had was part number: 24213393
Which is for the 5.3 L. .. Anyone know what this will stall
in my 1999 Z-71 with 5.3l and 3.73 gears.


Anyone else used this part number converter in Silverado.

 

I don't think that's gonna be what you want. The reason for a higher stall on the I-6 is because of the powerband on that motor, the 5.3 may just be the same that's in the trucks.... but this is just a logical guess, nothing more

 

Yeah that's not what you want.

 

I suspected something along that line. But that's all I could find local
without waiting a few weeks.

 

yup, thats not it.... I would definately wait for the right one, might as well do it now that its off the truck...

 

Dacco is making stalls for our trucks now. No need for the TB stall. Check this.
