Default Sway Bar for silverado 1500

Has anyone ever thought about upgrading the front sway bar or rear sway bar on a silverado 1500? I have a 2005 extended cab and am curious about throwing on a front sway bar from a 2005 silverado 3500 as it has a larger diameter. Any thoughts or advice from someone who has done this?

i have hellwig sway bars front and rear on mine, great handling improvement, much less body roll and way more positive cornering feel. highly recommended. as far as stock drop in pieces from other trucks i don't know what works or doesn't.

I paid around $450 shipped for front and rear hellwig anti swaybars. Best "overall" daily mod thus far. I can't imagine my truck without a rear swaybar now.

If you can only afford to do one, do the rear.

This is on gmt900 ccsb 2wd for reference.

I've got a big belltech in the front and a hellwig adjustable in the rear (got it used). It definitely helps.

Are you planning on doing the front sway bar upgrade as well or is the rear upgrade suffice on drivability?

I also have Helwig. It turned my truck from a boat into a jetski.
