Is this suspension type possible?
#1
I own a ex-cab Silverado, 2/4 drop and I'm looking to get the smooooothest ride possible. No off-roading or hauling. I know it's a truck but I hate how it's so stiff when going over speed bumbs and I feel like I'm getting thrown around when I hit a pot-hole or something.\
I'm looking for a nice smooth Mercedes type ride.
What kind of upgrade/conversion would anyone recommend for the front AND rear? I'd like to hear products and brand names as well. Thanks!

What kind of drop do you have now, and what kind of ride height are you looking for? I'm guessing you want to keep it a 2/4 . First thing is make sure you're not bottoming out on the bumpstops and get a good set of shocks like Edelbrocks or Bilsteins. Shocks can make a big difference. It'll never be as good as a Mercedes, but you can make it as good as stock if not better. You could go with 'bags; they ride really good.

Air Ride Technologies sells a bag kit they claim handles like a dream...your looking at around $5k for the kit thou, plus you need some nice rims to compliment it. They have there ridepro-e auto leveling setup and keyfob bag controls, cool stuff if you have the bling.

I wouldn't mind bags but, $5K is a little much.. maybe I'll find something similar. And yes I want to keep the 2/4 drop for sure. I'm good in the bling department, Nitto 404s wrapping 22" Helo Skidz. I need to work on getting some pics up. Thanks for the info guys, I'll keep everyone posted on what I get and put up some good reviews, install pics, etc.
