mine creeks from having a 1 inch lowering shackle on it. the eurothene bushings is whats doing it on mine. you can take some grease and lube up all the bushings you have back there to see if that will solve it.

don't use wd-40 use like a silicone spray, if i am mistaken i think wd-40 will just dry it out in the long run.

i was gonna post that too. don't use wd40. it will make them sqeak more. i sprayed mine with it and it made it worse. you might have to unbolt the shackle and lube them up again. i just live with mine creaking. i have a loud enough radio i can drown the noise out. lol

mine is an 01 ecsb step side and it started sqeaking once the shackles were put on. if yours is clicking and crackling then i would check to make sure everything is tight under there. i really don't know what else you could do. a long time ago i had a clunk clunk clunk everytime i took a corner in my z28. i kept tighting all the suspension stuff back there and then one day i was driving out the gate on base and my muffler started dragging. a weld had broken letting the muffler move from side to side. all that time i was thinking it was the suspension.

moral of that story is to check any and everything for fitment and tightness.

ahhh problem fixed. took the truck to the guy who did my lowering shacks.. he replaced them under warranty saying that the bushings that were in there were not the best ones to use.. put new shacks in.. like butta.. no more squeaky, no more headaches..
