Default Summitt sway control+ - quick install Q

Directions state to lift truck and let suspension hang. Do you all know if this is for access to the leaf springs only or if it is necessary to unload the suspension before installing them in order for them to function correctly?

I installed with the wheels on the ground as I had enough room to work in the wheel well. They seem to work well but wondering now if it was necessary for any reason to have the load of the rig off the rear leafs.

I think its due to space, but how do you like them and how much did it run you? Does it make ride better or harsh and how bout turns with it does it seem that it improved?

40 bucks to my door. I have them adjusted at about an inch so mid-way between settings and I like what I see so far. truck is MUCH more stable in the corners and I can take corners a lot harder now without the nose diving and rear feeling like its going to come up over my head. Truly - bang for the buck wise - best money I have ever spent on the truck

Dont think that they currently show them for GMC / Chevy application. I have the actual PN at home and will send it to you. I bought them several months ago and just got around to installing them but cannot see them on summitts site any longer. I dont suspect that they stopped making them, perhaps just sold out for awhile (I saw a post on this months ago on fullsizechevy.com, thought they would have re-stocked by now)

I guess they don't know they have it?!! I punch in the numbers and bed rail caps come up. SUM 72004 comes up 720040 thru 720043 which gets you bed rail caps for a Dodge pickup. Oh well. Maybe I'll try later. Thanks anyway.
