Default suggestions from FLT users

Hey guys finally decided to go with the level 5 FLT transmission. I need some help choosing the proper torque converter. I am going to use the vig but what stall? Check out my sig. Is a 3000 too much stall for my daily driver. I also plan on adding a cam and heads later but nothing super radical. I just want to hear what you guy's are using and how it is working in the "real world". Thanks.

2800 is a happy medium between DD and track use.

With the Radix making good power down low you don't want to give up too much. A 3000rpm stalled converter should be about perfect. I have a 2800 yank.

I have a Vig 10.5 2600-2800 sitting in my garage waiting to go in... I am curious to see what it actually stalls at as well.

Alot of people on here daily drive with 3000 stall. That's what I plan on getting.

I would suggest going with a 9.5" converter if you want a 3000 or higher stall. Vince

2600 is plenty with a Radix. Particulary if you have a lighter truck.

I went with a 2600 for mine. But I do tow with mine so I didnt want a really high stall. Be sure and get a big trans cooler to go with a stall.
