you want to tow with that torquer 2? that thing is going to have no low end. you'll need a stall of some sort to get it into the powerband. the problem with that is smaller diameter/higher stalls aren't ideal for towing. you will also need to get a big trans cooler if you plan on doing a lot of towing with it.

torquer 2 in a 5.7 ? . . . yea it'll work 232/234 .595 .598 -112
stock stall . . . sucks out of the hole . . . but a freeway missile - get a yank stall
idle - sounds good . . . that's about it

it'll work better with different heads

trans - short life, more heat, . . . heavy foot

i dont drive the truck too hard. i looked into the yank 2600 truck stall. seems like it would b what i need since it will still tow the original capacity

if you dont drive it hard (assuming you dont plan to either) buy a smaller cam. Like a 212/216, I would MAYBE run that big of a cam in my 6.0 RCSB.

your set up is impractical all over the place. Re think the strategy buddy. Cut your factory stall maybe and get a baby cam like 212

Do you already have that cam. I also agree that a little smaller would be better. TR224 would kick ***, imo, it always does...
