Default Steering shaft slop AGAIN!

Well acouple of weeks ago I strarted feeling the old clunkity clunk comming from the Intermidiate steering shaft.
The dealer took mine off and lubed it about 15k ago and now it feels just as shitty as before. Is there a replacement part from GM that does not do this?
Taking it off is not a huge deal but I have better stuff to do than fix crap that should not be going wrong in the first place.
Maybe if I do take it off I'll drill and tap it for a grease zerk if its possible to do so.
Anyone done this mod or know if GM had a recall on this part or a replacement?
Thanks.

They should not have lubed it, the most recent TSB has them replacing it with a new part, which fixes the matter once and for all.

I had to replace my rack to fix the slack problem. I wasnt buying another new steering shaft. The new rack fixed my problems. But now I have a bad lower ball joint.
