Default Steering Box

Are all of the NBS steering boxes the same? I am looking for a box with a quicker ratio.....does anybody know of one? A box from a '90's Impala SS perhaps.....?

I am looking for the same. I read in the April issue of PHR that FlamingRiver has out a new steering box that will replace the stock GM recirculating ball. It is part number FR1561, but I can not find infomation on their website - will probably have to call.

There were no specifics mentioned other than there are a couple different ratios and all versions are a bolt-in for three and four bolt GM applications.

I really have no idea (yet) if these are applicable for the NBS trucks.

The NBS trucks are rack and pinion, so no those wont work. Maybe on a 4wd or VHO they may work, or even maybe a 2500. but all 2wd 1/2 tons have rack and pinion steering, (excluding the VHO)
