Steel or aluminum driveshaft??

2 piece Steel is the only way to go for people like me and julien pushing big horsepower numbers in a 6k+lb truck with lengths exceeding 70+inches center to center

Our trucks came with huge 5in diameter .083 wall aluminum beer cans called driveshafts
(thats a 36" push broom in the background)

as you can see mine was twisted down it's length and was ready to fail

and all it took was this

and a whopping 2 hours of fab time and 4 grade 8 bolts

and now i have a D/S good to 1k+ hp with Spicer Hardened everything and a 1350 U-Joints

and thats my Driveshaft story

thanks for the info I'll be sure to give him a call in the coming months... I just dont trust that stock DS anymore I'm scared to go over 100 with it...
