Cool, I'm curious on how you think it feels for the first time. Mine felt really weird the first time like the brakes where dragging or something. But after a day or two, it felt a lot better.
Now its just fun.

its in! yee haw! the truck feels like a whole different animal now. i just thought i was traction challenged before. now at 1/2 throttle from a dead stop the tires are a rollin. haven't really gotten on it yet, but on the couple of little bursts i did it seemed to flash right up about 2700-2800. going down the road if you kick it out of lock up and give it some throttle it won't drop below 3k unless you get out of it some.

exactly. couldn't really think of the words that described how it initially felt. yeah, in a couple days i'll get used to it and it'll seem to drive "normal". then i'll probably start feeling all empty inside and need to "mod" something else for my "fix". might have to call richard again.

breeze - i ran over to the tranny shop and had the guys throw it in for me. i have access to a lift at a buddy's shop, but just haven't had the time to do it. had the flu bug a few weeks ago and that threw me behind at work, so i had them do it.

Tom is yours on the way? oh yeah, i'll be sending you some pics of the little project this weekend

Glad you like it, I'd say for the best bang for the buck you can't go wrong with the TB stall if your tight for cash.

I still haven't ordered a converter yet. I was dead set on a GM TB, but couldn't work a deal to get rid of the core charge. I've been stuck between a Dacco TB and their 2800-3200 ever since. Flashing to 2800 sounds just like what I'm looking for. How do you think a 220/224 cam would be with your converter in a H/C 5.3?

I'll keep my eyes open for the pics
