stall speed?

Random... what does the SS3600 flash to, and how's it feel driving around town? lose or to lose or what?

+2C I think is 3200.

3C is somewhere around 3600 rated I believe but in your heavy truck would probably go closer to 4k like Scott.s

It flashes right around 3600. I get about 12-13 mpg in town driving conservatively. It is a really tight converter which is great for a daily driver. I made the jump from an ss3200 and couldn't have been happier.

awesome!! I was worried about the weight of the truck but who knows. What are you running for a cooler?

I have a 30k GVW transmission cooler in line with the stocker which runs inline with the stock radiator. I have seen temperatures over 200* twice and both times were hot lapping my truck doing 4 1/8th mile passes within 3 minutes of each other.

Impressive guys, you really know the Circle D line of converters.

Here is a run down on how I structered my line.

Durability is rated in Stages. I, II and III. All of them are billet options. I and II and single disk options and the III is a multi disk.

Stall is rated in my codes, 2C, 3C, 4C.... and diameter, 230MM ,245MM , 258MM, 265MM

Eric, for your setup I would suggest 2 options. Both in the 245MM Stage I

"+2C" rated at 3400-3600
"3C" Rated at 3600-3800

The First choice will have better street manors and better traction. The second is more aggressive, but with traction it will be amazing.

Seriously though, whatever you do, at least go with a 3600 stall speed.

With good traction the bigger stall is faster and from what everyone says about circle-d there converters are really tight until you floor which will be great for DD driving. I wouln't run anything less than 3600 if you want it to launch hard. After all you want all aggressive street truck! N/a needs bigger stalls anyways to run.

very general and unproven statement...

My Z went quicker with a Yank 3200 than with a Vig 4000 all mods were the same, suspension etc the same, weather conditions were actually better with the Vig in there (much cooler) and the same track... now, on the street was a different story... some reason the bigger verter was wicked on the street but didn't run as well on the 660'...
