Default Stall size?

I need some help on choosing the right stall for my truck.
Have a 2000 silverado with a 4l60e that i just done a camshaft swap on.
222/224 .566 lift. Any suggetions?

Converter size and stall rpm depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the truck.

As far as when the power comes on thats all in the cam.

With that size cam you need something like a 3200 at a minimum I would think. A 3200 would be very drivable and get you off the line pretty good at the track. It'll get you high enough in the rev range for that cam to have 'signed on'.

For lowend torque, get a 9.5-10.5" converter with a stall speed around 34-3800. That bitch will have torque for days!!!

Whats a good stall brand? i know theres alot of different ones. also whats a good tranny cooler?

I dd my truck with a "3600" that acts more like a 3800-4000 with my heavy truck and its perfectly fine
get a tru cool 40k cooler
