my 2600 felt "loose" to me for about 2 minutes...then it felt stock. i say torque converters are like cams...think about what you want then step it up a notch because youll eventually not be happy with it.

I have a Fuddle 3200 in my DD 4X4 and wouldn't want anything else. I personally don't care for the Yank, but thats just personal opinion. Mine is slightly looser than stock, but not by any means unbearable. If you want something that feels totally stock, get the yank, if you want something slightly looser and feels like you actually have some work done to your truck, IMO get a PI, or Fuddle.
Also, for the cam, why buy a Thunder racing (or any other off the shelf cam for that matter) when you can call Comp, Cam motion, Ed Curtis, etc. and have them grind a custom cam designed for your truck, weight , gears, converter, etc. and pay the same money? Again just my opinion, but one thing I did FINALLY realize is that as much help as the people on this board can be, we still have different opinion, and I really doubt that most of us know wayyyyy less than someone that does this **** for a living day in , day out. Call a converter builder that will build a custom for your application converter and see what they come up with, do the same for a cam. Im very happy with my set up.

I run a 3000, Its fine for around town. When going slow in traffic your truck is just a little loud cause its reving higher. On the high way its normal, I think it locks up around 45-50 mph. So when crusing and not stepping on it you don't know its there. Im just waiting to find out how she does when I tow. I'd recommend a bigger tranny cooler and guage.
