Is there a stall brake or something You hold the buton raise the rpm till 3200 then release it?

rather then doing a power launch cuz my truck after the tune even If I turn off the stability trak doesnt go till 3000 rpm it just stops at 2500 and doesnt do a burnout at all.

If there is a Stall brake From which website Can I take it? I need this becaus im doing a cam swap and thinking of doing a Converter swap also with it cuz im going with the TSP 224R

 

I think your reffering to a trans brake and it requires a converter of that rpm and a REALLY built drivetrain to handle the load

 

So my stock 4l60 with the vette servo and a trans go kit cannot handle that?

 

They have trans-brakes for 4L60's but I don't think it would last but a few launchs.... Have you tried to flash the converter from say 1000 rpm to see if that helps any?

 

You can install a 2 step on a button, Id wire it to the brake pedal though.

it will act as a rev limiter on whatever RPM you have it set on.

Basically you floor the gas pedal and it will only hit the target RPM you have set. Release the button or brake pedal and it goes full throttle.

 

From I can get that? and will I have any problem if I raise the RPM to 2800 then release

 

If your converter doesnt stall to the rpm than you will never get there

 

so lets say my truck only revs till 2800 rpm that means I only get a 2800 stall converter or I can get a bigger one?

 

what converter do you currently have?

 

I currently have the stock converter but im doing a cam swap shortly so I'm considering a converter since I have a Crew cab and will have a hard time getting it off the line.

IM getting a PI vigilante 3200 or a yank 3200 converter
