Default SS suspension on my Sierra?

Hey guys, I was wondering what is exactly the difference between the Siverado SS's suspension and the suspension on my 03 ECSB sierra? If theres a big difference could I install the suspension from a ss to my sierra? If so, does anyone have the part numbers for the ss suspension?

Thanks for any help!

if you have a 4x4 sierra, the suspension is identical minus the shocks and possibly lift blocks.

if you are 2wd....its a whole different front setup.

Just curious, but why? There really is very little difference between the two. The SSS trucks are leveled from the factory, and like said have different shocks, but other than that they're both torsion bar/leaf spring setups that don't handle particularly well.

If you want to modify your 4wd truck, run some 2" drop spindles and run a drop hanger/shackle setup with the rear block removed.

Remove your 4x4 lift blocks and change the shocks and you have SS suspension...no real big difference. If you want to improve handling, go with Randomhero's suggestions, add in some Belltech Street Performance shocks, and maybe a rear sway bar and upgraded front sway bar. Along with the appropriate wheel tire combo of course.

Everyone has pretty well covered the differences and as you can tell, there aren't many. The only additional difference that comes to mind is the SS & Denali trucks use the "Purple" key's from a 2500 to help bring the nose down just a little more than a typical 1500 4X4.
