SS AWD T-Case + 4L80E....is it possible ??

I already have an auto-trac case from the factory.....I'd like to get true full-time AWD though because it seems to me that I'll be beating pretty hard on the clutch in the auto-trac when I launch with a 3200rpm converter.

I'd be looking into the Torsen T-3 that's in the Trailblazer SS....it is virtually indestructable. No clutches, all mechanical: Torsen T-3

Put it in 4hi Yelo. I have been beating on mine for 30K with nitrous and full bolt ons and now with the 418 and many others have done the same withe even more hp. I wouldnt worry about it.

I'm looking for a streetable solution to my constant wheelspin problem (other than letting off the throttle). I'm now running 295/45-20's in the rear and I just can't fit a bigger tire on my rims so I've got to figure out a way to get better traction without more rubber
I agree with that the AWD is ALOT better for cornering and pavement I guess you would have to look in to the shaft adapter like 1slow said
