I have installed both and prefer the Belltech. Especialy if your 4x4. The reason being that on the McGaughys you have to remove the front axle from the truck. Then install the spindle and cut the upper balljoint flush with the nut. Then once the spindle is installed you reinstall the axle buy putting it in from the rear of the spindle and bolt it back up to the diff. Once the axle is installed the axle boot barley clears the upper balljoint nut and the nut is resesed into the spindle. None of this is needed on the Belltech. You just trim the untreaded part off the upper balljoint and you have pleanty of clearence.
The other reason is that there are 3 bolts that hold the wheel bearing on to the spindle/ They go in from the back of the spindle and tread into the wheel bearing. This is kept the same on the Belltech. With the McGaughy the top bolt is replaced with a stud that screws in from the front and then you install the wheel bearing on over it. Before you tighten the 2 factory bolts that are reused from the rear you have to get the nut started onto the stud and screw it down. The nut is in between the rear mounting flande and the flange that the rotor sits against so you can only get a opened end of a wrench in there to tightrn the nut up.

I believe there are two versions of the McGaughy's too. Isn't there one for min. 17" rims and another version that will allow 16" rims. Somthing to consider when running a spare tire.

My only complaint with my McGaughys are that they lowered my truck about 1.5 inches if I was lucky and they caused me to have a positive camber. I had it aligned at three diferent shops and still could not get a 0 camber.
