Default spindle mod question

i have seen dezert1500's spindle mods for the 16"+ spindles but is there any downside to this? i have the 17"+ spindles because of the 4x4 and my turn radius is ****! i mean like there are long bed dually quad cabs that can turn sharper. im contemplating spending the 600 bucks on buying upper and lower control arms to put my stock spindle back on to see if i will get some turn radius back. the thing is i think that something else is wrong because when i get about a 1/4 turn from lock the truck actually turns sharper than at full lock, when i go full lock it feels like my alignment goes out of whack, the tires start to squeal really bad and at idle it will stop the truck. the tires dont rub anywhere, they just scrub the pavement so hard that it stops the truck. i need to do something, i cant hardly flip a u on a normal intersection (2 lanes each way) without backing up, its pathetic for a regular cab, tight parking lots are give me hell. give me some ideas guys, i know you got em. i guess i should say that they are mcgaughys spindles and the front end is decranked a little (a little more than an inch) also.

use the pedal on the right to whip it around.. that'll tighten up you turn radius Sorry, that was no help, but got you a free bump.

Thats wiered cuz my turning radius is fine. i can make U-turns with ease, and all my lowering parts are from mcgaughys. I think i also remember jaime complaing about how he couldnt make U-turns for ****..

The turning radius issue is mostly with people with a 4" drop or lower in the front. The spindle has a tendency to camber slightly in which causes it to rub a bit

well i have yet to come up with a solution on this and i hate it, because i dont really like the idea of grinding on the spindle. i have been contemplating on removing the spindles and putting the stock ones back on with djm's lca'a, but thats alot of money spent to lower a truck twice...

there isnt any rubbing, the fender and frame are clear of the tire, but at full lock the tire scrubs so hard that at idle it will basically stop the truck, thats how far the alignment goes off, are the mcgaughys spindles really such pos's?
