Question spider gear question

this isnt the first time ive posted on my diff being busted... but i have yet another question. i still havent even bothered popping the cover to see whats broken.. as i have 0 money to fix it. im concerned with how im going to get it to the shop to be repaired. it binds up real bad making even gradual turns.. so im afraid to drive it there as it is. i definitely dont want some moron towing it. ive toyed with the idea of just removing the entire rear axel, but that may be more trouble than its worth. now to my question.... when i do pop the cover and if it is indeed the spider gears that are broken,... can i just remove the spider gears and drive it like that? im totally unfamiliar with the make up of a differential so i dont know if thats even possible. someone let me know, id really appreciate it.

no spider gears = no wheels turning

You can get a flatbed tow truck to pick it up... it costs a little more

A tow truck should always pick the vehicle up by the drive wheels... you can damage the transmission if you dont. (unless the driveshaft is disconnected...and I havent seen a tow truck driver wanting to do that much work.)

Just ask what thier flat rate is, its usually cheaper
