Default The solution to my crappy 60 foots.

Well I talked to Precision and FLT today about my converter/trans setup and we came up with this. I will be sending the 10.5" Vig back and they are going to build me a 9.5" piece that will allow me to launch around 3800 rpm. However the only way to launch at this rpm is with a transbrake. I'm sending my tranny back to FLT for the transbrake install. This should help me get out the hole wouldn't you think?

I guess I'll be fixing the stock 3.73's and G80 next!

I think that the g80 will die while you are installing the transmission

dont think you need a Tbrake. last year i ran a 3800 converter. left off idle and it would flash to 3800 before the truck even launched.

You're going to want to upgrade your driveshaft and u-joints too if you haven't already.
