Default Solid or poly trans mount?

Who has them? How do you like it?

I've already got solid motor mounts, and thinking about doing solid trans mounts or a poly mount when I build my trans crossmember.

In the last 2 years I've put ~1500 miles on the truck, so it doesnt have to be crazy street friendly, but I dont want it to rattle like a Vietnamese Space Shuttle going down the road.

And if your second cousins brothers friends sisters boyfriend had one in his 70 Chevelle and couldnt stand it, I dont need to hear about it.

I would never use a solid trans mount.

Why is that?

A friend of mine had a poly one in his LS1 Formula and hated it, but it was because of the vibrations. I think with a truck you wont notice it like you would in a unibody car.

Chassis flex/engine torque can crack the transmission case.
