The fact is, if you are not going to upgrade rotor diameter, you should leave your stock rotors alone. The best thing you can do for braking PERFORMANCE short of upgrading with an entire kit is the following:

1) Upgrade pads (i.e. Hawk HPS or similar)
2) Upgrade your fluid to DOT 4 (i.e. ATE Super Blue)
3) Install stainless steel brake lines
Good info.

I definitely agree on your list above, from what I have read on here people have great success with just those 3.

I got a pair of these off ebay for 128 shipped .
They are zinc coated and so far haven't rusted at all.
Braking feels like stock, not sure if they help with brake fade while towing, havn't towed since I put them on. Here's a picture,
(I didn't even know the inside of my OEM rotors even looked like that, the outsides looked normal.) Kind of scary...

Is it true you cant resurface drilled or slotted rotors? Where is a good place to get OEM rotors besides the dealership?

yeh, no resurfacing!

I down graded from my brembo's back to stock due the cost of replacing my shot brembo rotors. But if you do upgrade and want performance, get the bigger rotor and the new hardware. My brembo 4 pistons are f-ing night and day from the stock setup in stopping power.

Were you still able to use the 4 piston calipers? Or did you go completely back to stock?
