So im running a 2/4 drop. I want to step into a shock that works well with trasfering weight. My rear shocks are about shot( they are stock) so i want some ideas of a good shock and even if you guys have some lentghs that would be great, I thought aobout afco or rancho, but qa's are a lil on the pricey side for me. Does anyone have the demisions for the shocks? I might try a friend with some afco's that he has at his house.

do i want a 50/50 or what? just any imput!

 

I run the Belltech Street performance series shocks for lowered apps on my 3/4. They ride good. You can always go to an adjustable.

 

what about hookin up? I am having issues that i will try to correct with caltracs and shocks...would this be a good combo for a daily driver, and be priced decent?

 

Priced great, excellent ride IMO. Caltracs should take care of the rest.

 

i have the doestech (summit) shocks. they ride great... much better than the sensa tracs i had on there...

another +1 for the belltechs street and performer shocks, i have them on mine and the ride is night and day better than the stockers.

 

Does anyone have any experience with the KYB monomax for a 2/4 drop? My edelbrocks need replacing so it's between the belltech street performer and the KYB's. Appreciate any first hand experience.

 

I'm running the KYB Monomax with Cal-tracs. The setup is working very well. Raises the front of the truck nicely, not too much squat in the rear, good traction. All of this is on the street, the track has been closed for the winter.
