I ran the 5000's on my old s10 and on the current silvy and while the ride felt nice at first it fell back into the factory ride status after a while..
I just bought a set of bil's for the front of the silvy and holy cow what a difference!!I dont have but 1000 miles on them but everybody that runs them say they cats meow

Nothing better than Rancho RS9000XL shocks IMO. Theyre tough and you can adjust them to your taste for ride quality. Ive had them on my last two trucks and will never have anything else.

Rancho has one of the best warranties in the industry so I'm not too worried.
Rancho Suspension: Warranty & Ride Guarantee
I've had them on two of my vehicles and my dad has them on two of his, two of those were heavy diesels. My Dmax and his F350, they get used at the deer lease with that heavy weight over the front with no problems, he also rows a fifth wheel with 3200# pin weight so his shocks really get a workout and he has over60k on his with no problems.
Maybe we've been lucky but it seems they back up their product well.
