Default shims/wedges to adjust pinion angle

added hangers this weekend for a total of 3" (2" hangers + 1" shackle) drop in the rear to level truck. i noticed last night i get a light shudder in 1st and 2nd gear on WOT accel. i know my pinion angle is all jacked now, even more positive than stock and way more than when i had just 2" shackles. where is a good source to buy the wedges to readjust the angle? my guess would be i need 1-2 deg wedges, am i correct?

You can pick some up at most auto parts stores. Last set I got was at O'Reilly's and they had 1 and 2 degree available.

You need to measure the angles on your truck, then get the correct shims. I ordered mine from Calvert Racing.

measure what you have before you go changing stuff. just park it on a level surface and measure according to the ground.

Hangers and shackles haven't positive 6 degrees. I would need a 8 degree shim to get it where I want it now. But check stylintrucks
