Default Shifting problems

I installed a new Mad Dog transmissions tranny about 2 months ago and when I try and leave the line in starts in second gear when I spool up. Also when I self shift into first gear and gun it the transmission automatically shifts into second gear right away. Is there any adjustment I can make to fix this?

Did your trans do this since it was installed or is this something new? I would put a scan tool on your computer and see if it is commanding 2nd gear. It almost sounds like you have a crossleak in the 1-2 accumulator.
