Default Shifting help?

I posted this in another forum but I was hoping I might get some more response here:

New guy here. I just installed a radix on my 05 GMC Sierra 4wd crewcab. Very happy with the performance boost but I'm looking to maximize what I have.

When I get on it, the shift from 2nd to 3rd seems like a clutch slipping in my old stick shift Honda. Is this what its supposed to feel like or do I need to upgrade my transmission some how?

I'm looking for any recommendations or suggestions as to what direction or upgrades I should consider.

Thanks and great site!!!!

I recommend with the radix a minimum of installing a shift kit and upgraded servo. Corvette servo. The servo is easy and will help the 2-3 shift do it now.

I dont think the servo does anything for the 2-3 shift, only the 1-2 shift and maybe the 3-4 shift. 2nd and 4 are applied via a band and drum, the servo applies the band, hence its name, Corvette band apply servo and piston.

i would skip the servo and install a Transgo shift kt, I have had good luck with them in the past.

peace
