shifter boot removal

Default shifter boot removal

Trying to put on my Hurst shifter on my 5-spd. I obviously got the four screws on the corners of the boot, but those little push pin/clip things that are still holding the boot down are kickin my ***. Any of yall know how to get them off without totally tearing everything up?
