Settings for QA1's
Finishing my next stage on my truck....
Installing QA1 Stocker Star Single Adjustable shocks on all for corners..
Truck is a 99 GMC RCSB..
Has a 4/6 drop...
Rear has a flip kit and Caltracs..
Rear shocks are relocated, both of them are on the back now..
Question is...
What settings on the shocks do I start with?
What has everyone had good luck with?
I really need to improve my 60ft...
I am new to adjustable shocks..
Thanks

With 2/4 Hotchkis springs, I like 8F/4R on the street. I have not been able to notice any decernable difference from 1-12 in the rear at the track and haven't had a chance to fully test the fronts. One thing I have noticed is I would prefer to have a double adjustable on the front. Dialing them down to get easy rise also allows the front to come down hard which is counter productive.

reason is that you want good weight transfer to the rear, so set the fronts to "0" at the strip so they don't offer resistance. The rear you want to sit but not too much. You want to plant it but not waste that energy too.
4wd you want to limit weight transfer from front to rear, hence the straps or cables like I have to keep the weight forward over the driven wheels.
I tried QA1's but never found a comfortable setting in the rear and sold them at a big loss Great drag shocks but not really setup for trucks.
