Default Servo question

Will installing a corvette servo in my 06 silverado cause premature failure of the tranny?

Has anyone broken a band by using the corvette servo?

Will installing that servo void my factory warranty. (I could see that go both ways....it is afterall a factory installed gm part in some vehicles)

It might help prevent trans failure if your agressive on your trans.
Don't know but not that i've heard of.
Technically only if the damage was a result of the modification but in everyday life it really depends on who your dealer is.

Just make sure that you get the snap ring back into the groove or else you could crack your case (like a few unlucky ones have) or it could just come out and you lose a little fluid (what happened to me).

If you are too worried about the dealer not covering it, just replace it with the old one if you ever have to take it in to get the tranny looked at. I would be willing to bet that alot of technicians wouldn't even notice the corvette servo.

Check the snap ring it cost me $2500. I thought mine was in and it cracked the case.
