Default Sending back my stall to PI to speed it up.. Need some advice

My stall speed is 2600 righ now but I wanna change it because never got a radix and doesn't look like I will any time soon.... so I decieded to N/A with my 6.0. My engine mods are the following:

Engine
Comp xr269HR 216/220 525/532 114 cam.
243 heads, 7.4 push rods, 918 springs.
mahle 4.005 pistons.
eagle rods.
ported oil pump.
ASP crank pulley.
AZ S&M LT's.

I'm thinking about a 3K stall.... what do you guys recomend? I really need it to have street manners since its my DD but I also want to Run Deep 13s or high 12s. I know 12s may be too optimistic but i can always spray it

I'd yank that cam out of there and throw something bigger in and go with a 3600+ converter.

Street manners are all in the tune.

Then you actually want a lower stall speed if your plan is to be mean from a roll.

never tought I would need to go any lower than 2600. I rarely find anybody try to mess with me from a dead stop, its usually from a roll and just hate that my truck speeds up really slow from 70+ but then again.... i'm still beating on my untuned 4.8 a new SLP air box and nkg plugs made some noticable difference but its still a slow turd LOL

I wouldn't go lower than 3000. I have the pi 3600 and it feels a little loose but still daily drives great. Maybe a 3200-3400.

i would say 3000 minimum but i think 3200 with that combo would be perfect.

you want the power to hit the ground quick rather it be from a roll or a launch, get a triple disc 4k and be done with it, specially if youre gonna get a bigger cam..

When you call PI for a restall, they will tell you that they restall in "steps" which is equivalent 400-500 (per step). For your current set-up, I would recommend going TWO steps higher. I wouldn't waste the R&R effort for 400-500RPMs. Having a 34-3600 stall converter in your truck will also leave room for a more aggressive cam if you choose to do so in the future. You will not be disappointed. This is all based on you not towing of course.

Don't be afraid of stall. I am running 44-4500 stall now and believe it or not, it drives just fine on the street.
