Is it an extended warranty from GM or aftermarket?
A lot of aftermarket ext warranty companies will only cover so much of the repairs. They will only want to cover what is exactly broken. They also sometimes only allow their own parts to be used. Trust me, I found out the hard way.
Hopefully that isn't your case and they will at least cover some of the repairs.
I also vote for Century transmissions!
They did their HD rebuild. He had a 01' Z71 ECSB GMC. It had the 4L60E in it.
He did a great job. I drove it and was amazed at how clean and crisp the shifts were over my trans that only has 30,000mi on it.
He does great performance rebuilds. Though he's not cheap, but it's reasonable.
There are quite a few guys that will vouch for their work!
