Default S10/Blazer Stall converter in an Ex. Cab OBS 5.7 Truck?

At the local junkyard there is a 1999 Chevy Blazer and the stock Torque converter is still in place. I have heard of people using the S10 converters in full size trucks to get a higher stall. Does anyone know if the Blazer and the S10 have the same converter? I wouldn't mind picking this up if its the same one others are running. I believe it is a stock size 12" case so it should drive well...I'm hoping. Any help would be appreciated. The truck I am considering putting it in is a 1999 Chevy Silverado Ex. Cab with the 5.7 Vortec/4l60E. Thanks
