Default ?'s about converters

Switched from the STS system to the Radix. Also when the turbo went on a 4L80 swap was done with a Yank 3200 stall. Thinking about doing the GT2-3 cam swap this year and started thinking about the stall. Did the search and the answer pretty much was 2400 to 2800 was the ticket. Also found some of you were running the stock stall. Still have it laying around. Which one is better? Also, will somebody explain what locked and unlocked means? Thanks in advance Mike

If it were me I would send in the yank and have them tighten it up.
