Rpms fluctuating

Rpms fluctuating
When i hit about 40 to 60 mph my rpms fluctuate about 2-300 rpms and it seems to sound like the lockup is engaging and disengaging..anyone experience this??....also when i turn the tranny seems to rev up...right now on the way to school i turned and i heard a grinding noise like if it was manual and i grinded the gears...any suggestions on what it could be?
