There are quite a few. I want to see your results, couple with others input. I will most likely trim first, then find an aftermarket piece that will work, or call those manufacturers and see if they can spec one out. I'm OCD, would rather have a nice piece cut to look like it belongs than cut up and left...even though no one will see it.

Cut my down today. I milled about 1/4" off the metal part and about the same on the rubber. Then painted the metal so it won't rust. There is now about 1/4" gap between the stop and the LCA when loaded. I didn't bother shaping the rubber into a "V". The ride is noticeably softer now in the front. I would definitely recommend this if you are dropped 2" in the front. And I think it would be almost a requirement if you're dropped more than that.

nice, can you get over all dimensions for those who may want to buy an aftermarket one? I will cut mine for now, but I'd most likely order a set from energy suspension or the like due to my disorder

haven't looked under mine yet... but with 3" coils I'm pretty much riding on the stops and the shocks/coils aren't doing ****?
How much more will it come down if the stops are modded.... hmmm.
just swap out the metal surrounded tall bastards with these... http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Mcg...-33038/855912/
or take your pick

9.9154 Energy Suspension Bump Stops - 99154
anyone have a factory set they can measure so I can tell which one to buy?

If it has coil springs, they're NOT supposed to touch (they're made of solid rubber, very rough ride)
