I went and got some grade 8 bolts to replace all my bell housing bolts... yeah, it may be a little uncalled for but I know when this damn thing is in, its in...
BTW, they are just regular bolts, not the ones with the extra little tittie sticking off the end...

The upper bellhousing bolt was a bitch without the intake, I'm sure it's going to be damn-near impossible with the intake.

I was told a flat gear wrench works well to get the top bolt out without having to pull the intake.

I just put some old 15" Chevy rims under the front tires so it wont go anywhere, and have plenty of room under the truck.. From start to finish i can pull the tranny in about 40minutes..

8mm socket for wiring harness on the driver sice
10mm socket for the driver side heat reflector
15mm Deep Impact for the exhaust, Y-pipe
13mm for the nuts on the studs, and starter
15mm for the studs that hold the tranny to the engine, and swing/carrier bearing... i dont know the name for it, its only for the 2piece Driveshafts
21mm for the trans crossmember
small flat head screwdriver for the Eclips- tranny lines
7/16" for the drive shaft.
8mm allen wrench for the TC bolts
1" socket for the Crank to hold it while ya break the TC bolts loose... i bet your goin to loose some skin on your knuckles...

I think thats about it..

Oh yea, a 4wheeler lift jack works great!!! So if ya got a buddy with one.. its very easy!

I had one of those last time when I did the engine swap. It didn't work well at all.

I have a 20" 3/8 extension that I use along with a 6-8" with a wiggle joint and a deep 15mm and it pops right on out. Pulling the intake is alot of extra work. Pulling the intake is an extra hour worth of work. Doing it the way I described you can have the trans swapped in about 2 hours, piece of cake, but then again I ahve done a few
