Default Replacing rotors - What to get?

What do you guys recommend?
I saw the R1 Diamond Cut Design on ebay.. are those any good or junk?
I've heard cross-drill are no good for the street cause they warp and crack in a short time, What should I get?

Thanks,

I have drill/slot brembos and Hawk pads on all 4 corners and its stops WAY better than stock... all I have left to do now is get some SS brake lines.

If you're truly stopping better it's the pads doing all the improving and not the rotors; all slots and holes do in a rotor of equal diameter is lessen the braking surface area, which doesn't help.

i disagree to a point, it's not that rotors dont play a factor. we sell 2 different lines of brakes at napa, TRUE STOP import ceap chinese stuff and UP application engineered made in the states rotors

Truestop uses generic metal and just makes a rotor to get you by

UP makes application engineeted rotors that equal or exceed factory specs in material used, manufactureing process, and cooling fin design/pattern (random slots dont cool your calipers off as well as a stock design)

granted yes pads and pressure make up most of your braking performance, but w/o a good rotor you will not acheive your potential

(mods i'm not selling anything just using napa as an example)

*** edit*** i forgot to mention slots and holes are made for cooling when using heavy friction metallic pads "race use"
