i just bought some used djm 4" lower control arms and one has no ball joint at all so im gona have to buy one and have it pressed on, so my question is what ball joints do i buy? will the factory ball joints fit on the djm control arm? i heard someone tell me something about ford lighting ball joints will work but not sure if this is true or not so help me out guys, thanks.............

 

try lower ball joints off of an 02-03ish tahoe

 

are they cheaper or something, and do they fit? why a tahoe....

 

when i worked in the auto parts store, a co-worker replaced them on his 4-6 drop with those ball joints. he had djm also. i think they are about 50 bucks or so at O'Reilly's but its been a while since I've priced them. but yes they should be an exact match, they were on his 03 chevy rcsb

 

i just checked with him and it was an 03 tahoe
