Received my Midwest Stall - Pics

That is a front wheel drive car back half welded onto a different front cover, that's why it would have been hard to open up multiple times. Because it doesn't match up well. The pump/stator combo is probably going to be extremely inefficient in a heavier vehicle. I'm not knocking you personally but that converter is garbage. You'd be money ahead and have less head/heartache down the road if you sold it for a loss... I'm not going to push a brand just for the sake of nutswinging or because so-and-so pays a sponsorship fee but I have personally owned both Yank and Circle-D converters and they are absolutely great converters. They have different approaches to building and different theories that work in their own ways... But it would be hard to go Wrong with either company.
I've seen Midwests, Edges, and a lot of different converters all opened up side by side... You get what you pay for...
I hope you have better luck out of that converter than I am anticipating...

It in the truck and seems to work great. I have never had a stall this high and yeah it is "kinda" loose but you can get uo to cruising speeds without lots of throttle and when you hit it it hits 3k instantly and is pullin hard. Takes getting used to the extra throttle to get it going but like i said its not bad. I talked with a few guys who know converters and they said from the looks of the video I sent them it is working great and should be just what i want.

Its very similar to this under light throttle

Here a crappy video of medium throttle. Keep in mind it can easily be brought up to speed with less rpm and throttle. I think it works great.
