Right now my s10 blazer 4x4 has a modded 350 in it. I'm wanting to take it out and put my 5.3 in and an 02 4l60e with push button transfer case. I'm pretty sure I'll need to make new drive shafts but I'm not sure if the Front driveline will line up properly with the IFS. Does anyone know?
I could technically swap in the 1500 axles too but that would look too cheesy.

Being that the blazer had a 700r4 in it originally I can not see why this would not work. Guys have put 80's in there so a 60 should be easily done. The unit will be a bit longer than the 700 but depending on where the motor mounts are located this might be easier than you think Joshua. Good luck with the project. Vince

Yea I'm thinking the engine ant trans themselves are easy since I put the v8 in there and already know what to look for. Just wasn't really sure on the front drive.
Still gotta figure out if I need a stand alone harness or if I can just swap in a stock 4x4 harness out of the 02. then Gotta research on gauges that allow speedo to work properly.
I'm expecting it to be fairly simple tho. Nothing a lil ingenuity can't figure out.
