Default Rear Springs

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 2WD. I want to take the Rear Coil Springs out of a 2500HD 4X4 and put them into my 1500

Will it help, the stock ones are pretty soft and I want something stiffer.

You don't have rear coil springs.

Ok, the Leaf Springs. I never paid attention to what was under it.

I wish they wouldn't lift it, it looks perfect the way it is IMO.

How about trying some stiffer shocks?
