Default rear questions....

ok, i've narrowed my rear problem down to the factory locker/spider gears... i'm thinking about a lockright or something simmiliar... i need info from anyone who has done this before and is replacing the factory junk as easy as i'm told? i really have no experiance with rears so any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I put in an eaton posi, which I got used on craigslist for $200. the local gear shop charged me $165 to install it so I didnt even mess with it. They had it done in less than 2 hrs so I can't see it being too complicated.

get yourself a truetrac and have and expert do it because it has to be perfect. not something to mess around with if you've never done it before.

If by Lockright you mean the PowerTrax unit you can't use it with your factory G80 diff. I put one of those in my 97 3500 and absolutely hated it. I couldn't touch the gas during any cornering or it would lock/unlock and make a horrendous snaping sound that made me cringe thinking my axles were going to snap. The TruTrac is a nice smooth operating option for street driving
