Default Rear differential size

I want to swap out my stock 3.42 gears and G80. I decided to get 4.10 gears but I don't know what kind of limited slip I should get to replace the G80. I heard the Truetrac and Eaton units are good. What do you all recommend? Also, what is the rear end size on my truck? I've heard 8.5" and 8.625". Which one is correct? Any info would be appreciated.

your 99+ truck is 8.625" the 88-99 trucks were 8.5", the gears are interchangeable.
