On my 09 Silverado, it doesn't indicate that it has a g80 but it pulls both rear wheels while spinning. Is there another rpo for a limited slip or am i goin crazy?

Look inside your glove box for the codes....
Actually, on my breakdown of RPO codes, G80 reads "Axle Positraction Limited Slip"
When I ran my VIN on GM VIS it came up as G80 / Locking Differential- Rear Axle.
My guess is that GM's version is just another name for limited slip, not a true locker.

No, they're lockers...just not very good ones. There's a small pin that locks the gears together, which is what shears when the G80 blows. lol
This fall I will probably be swapping mine over to a true trac.

G80 is GM's code for a limited slip rear axle.
Weather thats a locking diff or a clutch style or anything else they used to Limit the amount of slip between the wheels....hence Limited slip.
F-bodies got the G80 code and came with a clutch style LSD for example.

Not that it is used in our trucks, but one that is used in other GM applications for limited slip's is G86.
