Default rear brake disk backing plate question

what is the difference between the backing plate for the single piston rear calipers and the dual piston? Is there even a difference?

Reason for asking is my backing plates have nothing left to them. I see aftermarket company makes a 2 piece backing plate that clips together (so I wouldnt have to pull the axles to put it in), however it is advertised to fit the 2 piston rear caliper trucks.

My truck is single piston rear.

I'm not sure if there is a difference, but I'm pretty sure that guys have upgraded from the single to dual piston calipers without changing the backing plates...so I'm going to bet that they'd work for you...
